I’m pleased to announce the winners in the Orcom 152 (Communication Trends and Styles) Comm Plan Pitches. This year, we took on non-profit organizations that are both unknown to many, but whose missions can make a positive difference to many who need it most.

IMAGINE SCHOLAR PILIPINAS. First established in South Africa to provide personalized education for promising youth, Imagine Scholar brings the opportunity to underprivileged Filipino students through scholarships in information technology (IT) education. The task is to develop a communication plan that will establish Imagine Scholar Pilipinas as a reputable foundation for IT scholarships in the country.

UP MANILA NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH. Established as a national health research center, the UP Manila NIH aims to become the recognized authority in health research and development in the Philippines. The task is to make UP Manila NIH more relevant to the public by making the findings of its useful research more accessible and more useful to Filipinos.

BEST PITCH:

“There’s News and Information on Health (NIH) for Every Juan”

    To Sabi NIH Dok Team, you also win P500 worth of GC from Conti’s, thanks to our defense panelist Lou Camaclang, Orcom graduate who’s the Communication Specialist for Conti’s. I forgot to bring it to DAC so I’ll just give it to you guys this second semester. :)
